Auermann & Schiffer in Ad for THE NEW YORKER (1995)

This photo appeared on the back cover of an issue of The New Yorker (April 3, 1995).  It's an ad for Versace jeans featuring Nadja Auermann (standing) and Claudia Schiffer.  Great shot.

That's right: The New Yorker. The photographer is the legendary Richard Avedon.

John Updike Died Today of Lung Cancer

John Updike is now dead at the age of 76.  He was a great writer who should have received the Nobel Prize for Literature.
